Lets make stuff!!!

If you’re like me, you probably have a lot of old stuff just lying around your house. Well if you’re looking for a little inspiration or a new DIY project, here are 50 creative ways to repurpose, reues and upcycle old things.

There’s a pretty broad range in this list but hopefully a handful jump out and spark an idea for you and your home!

  1. Oh my!!! I am actually overwhelmed by all this goodness!! I can’t wait to use these ideas for my own home!!! I especially live the suitcase medicine cabinet and utensil wall hooks! Thanks so much!

  2. So many great ideas! I love recycling stuff around the home. Mainly because I’m too thrifty to let myself spend a lot of money on craft supplies. But this just goes to show that you can make awesome stuff with recycled materials! Thanks for sharing it!

    1. Hi, my how blog is on recycling materials into cool stuff, stick around and check out my other articles!! I have a lot of basic tutorials on how to go about constructing some of these projects. 🙂

  3. I find it really satisfying making something out of what we already have or something I found for free. The other day we found a couple of old trellises sitting on the side of the road and yesterday we cut them in half, painted them yellow and now they are a rabbit proof fence for our vegetable garden. Proud as punch.

    1. I’m addicted to making things, repurposing, recycling – I find myself hunting out projects to do all the time – looking at a colourful shirt and seeing a bag, doll, pillow, anything other than what it is…… I love the idea of your rabbit proof fence. I am an avid vege gardner too and I hope to have chickens one day – maybe this type of construction will work for them too. 🙂

      1. It should keep out chickens if they aren’t the flying kind. Our rabbit is blind in both eyes and doesn’t jump to explore places. He will jump if he knows what he is jumping to (like onto the couch or up onto our bed). We figure if he summons up the courage to jump over the new fencing and into our vegetable garden, he’s earned the right to help himself to the fruits of our labour.
