From a business perspective, if you look at dollar for dollar, there’s a lot of savings to be had by going eco-friendly as far as expenses and energy consumption, … But most people don’t look at business from that point of view – they only look at the bottom line and the upfront costs, but there’s a long-term benefit to being eco-friendly.” Geoff Baker

    1. Hi, thanks for your comment, it’s a great functional piece of furniture. The piece is called ‘coffee bench’. The designer is Karolina Tylka from Beyond Standards, based in Poland. You can do a google search under her name to find more information, and if it is available where you live. 🙂

Although it is hard to pick just one…I think my favorite is the chevron patterned flooring from salvaged pallet wood. Or maybe the sea mine fireplace? Decisions, decisions…

Love the eco-friendliness PBC! I’ve got a “re-imagining” crush on you!

  4. Excellent! Wondrous! Inspiring! You’ve shown so very much here, Pepper! Ah, the cleverness of a truly-gifted designer…who also thinks beyond the mundane! (As I sit here with my little ‘leaf’ baskets, made of kraft paper, wire, flexible glue, joint compound, paint and acrylic polyurethane varnish…and a bit of metallic bronzing powders! Believe me, they look like ‘leaves’, but they’re not!)
